Hello everyone! My name is Jaydia, I am the founder of Cold Coast Design and the person you will be working hand-in-hand with. I was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and can honestly say I love it with my whole heart. When I decided to start my own business, I really wanted it to be driven towards the local businesses that are already existing on the Island. I love being able to support the locals and promote the unique things the Island provides. So before we work together on promoting your amazing business, I want you to know a little about me!
I grew up in the small town of Lake Cowichan which meant a lot of outdoor time. I spent weekends camping in the bush or days on the West Coast. I took a Business Technology Course at Vancouver Island University that fully trained me to be an efficient and organized Admin Assistant and to build Websites using WordPress. While this course had a heavy schedule, I spent a lot of time on the weekends channeling my stress by exploring new places on the Island. I soon became addicted to photography and exploring. This became a very big passion for me and I created my self titled blog + website Jaydia Leigh Photography. This blog has started so many great opportunities for me and I have loved every minute of it! I have previously worked at the Duncan Wellness Centre + Applied Somatics where I have managed their Facebook and Instagram accounts for the last year and a half. I have also received training from HubSpot Academy with their Marketing Certificate Program.
Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, taking pictures, writing, reading good books, eating good food, playing music, long drives to the middle of nowhere with friends, and exploring local gems. I absolutely love the community Vancouver Island has and to be able to support that is very important to me. At Cold Coast Design, I aim to provide all the necessary procedures of online exposure in a functional manner. I want local business owners to feel at ease, excited, and proud of how your business is being presented online.
Feel free to ask me anything or say a simple hello! Looking forward to working with you.
